Advanced sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 250GB SKU increased this week at Amazon.com amid stronger demand for the hardware.

On Mon., the PS3 250GB SKU held a sales increase of 122 percent to rank at No. 172 in Amazon’s Video Games division.

The PS3 is sold in a 120GB SKU at $299.99, 250GB SKU at $349.99.

In addition, a bundle that includes the PS3 250GB SKU, LittleBigPlanet and an HDMI cable sells at $349.99.

Sony in Sept. will begin sale of the Playstation Move controller.

The Playstation Move holds a retail price of $49.99 each.

A Playstation Move Console Bundle will include a PS3, Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99.
