For the week Mar. 1, Modern Warfare 2 ranked as the No. 1 Xbox Live title based on unique users.

Titles Halo 3 and the Call of Duty: World at War rounded out the top three Xbox Live titles in the same period.

Activision Blizzard Inc. this week said it will release a new Call of Duty title in fall 2010.

Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut the Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Card to $39.96 in a new sale.

Modern Warfare 2, released Nov. 10, has sold 15 million copies in global sales.
