Sony Corp.’s God of War III for the Playstation 3 ranked in the top 10 this week on strong demand at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s online division.

This week, God of War III ranked as the No. 9 best-selling product in Walmart.com’s Video Games division.

The retailer is offering a $10 gift card with the pre-purchase of the title.

Meanwhile, Amazon.com is offering $5 off God of War III with the purchase of the God of War Collection SKU.

God of War III will be sold in a standard edition and Ultimate Edition on Mar. 16.

The Ultimate Edition will include a copy of God of War III, sculpted replica of Pandora’s Box, God of War Art Book, Documentary, Trilogy Soundtrack, Blood and Metal EP, and exclusive download content.

Sony in Nov. released the PS3 250GB SKU at $349.99.
