Advanced sales of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII Bundle increased this week at Amazon.com on strong demand for the product.

This week, the Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII Bundle held a sales increase of 138 percent to rank at No. 39 in Amazon’s Video Games division.

The Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII bundle will include a Xbox 360 250GB Elite hardware, two wireless controllers, AV cable, headset, network cable and a copy of Final Fantasy XIII at $399.99.

Retailer Amazon.com this week began offering a free Final Fantasy XIII Faceplate with the purchase of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII Bundle.

In the new offer, customers who purchase the Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII bundle with receive a Final Fantasy XIII Faceplate at no additional cost.

The retailer disclaims the offer is valid while supplies last.

The FFXIII Faceplate sells separately at $49.99.

Final Fantasy XIII is the latest entry in the RPG franchise and the first franchise SKU to be released to the Xbox 360.

It will be sold this Mar. at U.S. retail.

The Xbox 360 has sold 39 million units to date in global markets.
