Sony Corp.’s God of War Collection ranked as the ‘Most Wished For’ game title for the Playstation 3 at a U.S. retailer this week.
On Sun., the God of War Collection ranked as the No. 1 Most Wished For PS3 game title at Amazon.com.
In addition, it ranked as the No. 5 Most Wished For video game product among all game hardware.
The God of War Collection will include reworked versions of God of War and God of War II on a single Blu-ray disc.
Both titles will carry a resolution of 1280 x 720 and a yield 60 frames-per-second graphics engine.
It carries a pre-order price of $36.99, eight percent off the MSRP.
Sony in 2010 will release the third entry in the franchise, God of War III.
Sony last month price cut the current 80GB SKU to $299.99, while the 160GB SKU was price cut to $399.99.
Sony in Aug. began sale of the new Playstation 3 Slim model, a smaller and lighter version of the hardware.
The PS3 Slim includes a 120GB hard drive and a built-in Blu-ray disc player for $299.99.
