Advanced sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii MotionPlus accessory and the game title Wii Sports Resort ranked as top-sellers at Amazon.com upon availability at the retailer.

Wii Sports Resort on Mon. ranked as the No. 8 top-selling product, while Wii MotionPlus ranked at No. 10 in Amazon’s Video Games division.

The Wii MotionPlus is said to offer more comprehensive tracking of a player’s arm position and orientation, allowing wrist or arm movement to be identitically rendered on-screen in true 1:1 response.

The peripheral will sell for $19.99.

Wii Sports Resort will be released on July 26.

Wii Sports Resort will include a variety of new games, including jetskiing, sword dueling, and disc throwing.

Each Wii Sports Resort SKU will include one Wii MotionPlus accessory.

The title will carry an MSRP of $49.99.
