Circuit City Stores Inc. this week discounted Activision Inc.’s Guitar Hero bundles for Nintendo Co.’s Wii to $47.99 in a new game sale.

The retailer is selling the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Guitar Bundle at $47.99, $22 off the MSRP, and the Guitar Hero Aerosmith Bundle at $47.99.

Meanwhile, Amazon.com this week discounted Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii to $34.99.

NPD Group Inc. in Dec. reported that the Wii sold two million units in Nov. U.S. sales to rank as the No. 1 game hardware for the month.

World Tour was released in Oct. and ranked as a top-selling holiday title.
