Retailer Amazon.com this month began selling a new discounted bundle for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and related Blu-ray disc products.

In the new offer, customers who purchase an 80GB PS3 and PS3 game, will receive a Blu-ray remote and Blu-ray movie at no additional cost.

Sony this week began sale of a new 160GB PS3 bundle at U.S. retail.

The bundle includes a new 160GB PS3, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, PAIN downloadable game voucher, and a Dualshock 3 controller for $499.

Retailers are expected to make aggressive price cuts to video game products in order to spur holiday sales.
