Britney Spears made a buzzworthy comeback on Fri. in the debut of her new video, ‘Womanizer‘, which premiered on ABC’s 20/20 news program.
In the video, a nude Spears lays in a sauna featuring a fit physique much like the pop star did at the peak of her career.
Directed by Joseph Kahn, Spears takes the role of a sexy housewife, secretary, and waitress who taunts and teases a womanizing man.
Womanizer is the first single off Spears’ latest album, Circus, due out in the U.S. on Dec. 2.
The track was produced by Atlanta-based The Outsyders.
The single currently ranks as the No. 1 best-selling track on Apple Inc.’s iTunes store.
Spears will take part in a 90-minute documentary feature, Britney: On The Record, to air on MTV on Nov. 30. The film will detail the pop star’s comeback following rehab, a divorce, a psychiatric hold, and losing custody of her two children.
In Aug., she received three MTV Video Music Awards, including ‘Video of the Year’ for ‘Piece of Me’ off the 2007 album Blackout.
