Target clearances Xbox 360 20GB hard drive

Target Corp. stores this month began holding a 30 percent clearance on Micorosoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 20GB hard drive in the latest round of video game discounts.Select Target stores in Southern California clearanced the 20GB hard drive SKU to $69.98, down from an MSRP of $99.99.

The 20GB hard drive was made available in 2005 as an option for the Xbox 360 Core SKU.

NPD Group Inc. this month reported sales of 204,800 Xbox 360 units in July U.S. sales, ranking below Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Nintendo Co.’s Wii.

Microsoft in July price cut the 20GB Xbox 360 Pro model by $50 to $299.99.

It began sale of a new 60GB model in Aug.
