D3 Inc. this week said that it will release Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords - Revenge of the Plague Lord to Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Live division of the Xbox 360 on Wed.
Revenge of the Plague Lord offers a wave of new gameplay elements, including four new hero professions, a new area with more than 25 quests, more than 50 new spells, and more than 40 new magical items.
Additionally, character levels can cap to 60 in the expansion pack.
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords was inducted to the Xbox Live Arcade Hits program last week.
Microsoft held a setback in U.S. hardware sales this month as Sony Corp. claimed Playstation 3 sales 84 percent above the Xbox 360 in June.
The hardware sold 219,800 units for the month to rank behind the PS3 and Nintendo Co.’s Wii.
This month, Microsoft price cut the 20GB Xbox 360 Pro model by $50 to $299.99. It will sell a new 60GB model for $349.99 this fall.
