Capcom Co. on Mon. said that it will release Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop to Nintendo Co.’s Wii home video game system this winter.
The title is a revamped release of the 2006 hit for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360.
Chop Til You Drop will support the Wii Remote to shoot, slash, and bludgeon zombies in a shopping mall.
The title will utilize the Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition engine to pack a horde of zombies on-screen.
The final game is said to include a improved save function, and the ability to shake off zombies with the Wii Remote.
Capcom last week showcased upcoming game titles at the E3 Media & Business Summit in Los Angeles, including Resident Evil 4, Street Fighter IV, and Dark Void.
Nintendo last week said that Wii is the No. 1-selling system in the U.S. at 10.9 million units sold to date.
