Capcom Co. this week demonstrated Resident Evil 5 for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 and Sony Corp.’s Playstation at the E3 Media & Business Summit in Los Angeles, CA.
In a new video from the Xbox 360 version, Chris and secondary character Sheva battle a barrage of zombie enemies homing towards an indoor refuge.
Later, the enemies break an opening in a ceiling. Another breaks down a wall to enter.
The video demonstrates new context-sensitive defense functions, including helping another teammate.
In the scenario, the two must battle a swarm of enemies while awaiting for air support.
The final game will include online co-op functionality that allow each player to help assist each other on the field.
Resident Evil 5 will be released to the PS3 and Xbox 360 in Mar. 2009.
