Nintendo on Tues. unvieled a new wave of products for the Wii home video game system at its annual E3 Media Briefing.
The company will debut a new music title called Wii Music that will allow players to virtually play more than 50 instruments.
Players hold the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller like its real-life counterpart to play each instrument.
Instruments include drums, the violin, saxophone, and a cow bell.
Players can even play together as a virtual band and record their own music videos.
Additonally, Nintendo debuted Wii Sports Resort, which will utilize the new Wii MotionPlus accessory.
The Wii Sports follow-up will include a variety of new games, including jetskiing, sword dueling, and disc throwing.
The Wii MotionPlus will be included in each Wii Sports Resort SKU sold. It is scheduled for a spring 2009 release.
Finally, the company will sell Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii by year-end. The title will support a new Wii Speak microphone peripheral to allow players to talk with others online.
