Demand for Blu-ray disc titles increased this week at Amazon.com as buyers new products due to be released in June.
In-demand titles include The Other Boleyn Girl, The Bucket List, Jumper, and Men in Black.
Budget titles also held increased sales, including The Terminator, Goodfellas, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and The Last Samurai.
NPD Group Inc. this week released data that indicates HDTV owners do not plan to purchase a Blu-ray disc player in the next six months.
According to consumers surveyed, six percent plan to purchase a Blu-ray disc player, while nine percent of high-definition TV owners plan to buy the high-definition device.
