Apple Inc. on Wed. released the Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard update to customers to enhance the latest version of the operating system.
Version 10.5.3 is said to include general operating system improvements that enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of the Mac.
The update includes fixes to various applications, including Spotlight, Safari, Address Book, Automator, iCal, iChat, Mail, Time Machine, and Voice Over.
Apple says the install will vary in size when using the computer’s Software Update.
The update is offered in a delta upgrade from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 or a combo update Mac OS X 10.5, 10.5.1, or 10.5.2 to 10.5.3.
Apple is expected to unveil an update to the iPhone device Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco next month.
The company in May said it will showcase OS X iPhone Development Platforms at the event.
