
Nintendo Co. on Mon. announced a new wave of Virtual Console titles for the Wii home video game system.
Bubble Bobble for the NES is a 1-2 player puzzle action game orignally released in 1986. Players defeat enemies by trapping them in bubbles in 100 levels. The title retails for 500 Wii Points.
Light Crusader for the Genesis is a 1 player action RPG title in which players fight enemies and solve puzzles to save the kingdom. It retails for 800 Wii Points.
Top Hunter for the Neo Geo is a 1-2 Player side-scrolling action title. Players take the role of Roddy or Cathy wipe out space pirates. It retails for 900 Wii Points.
Wii was the No. 2 best-selling video game hardware in the U.S. for the month of Nov. according to NPD Group Inc.
Nintendo in Oct. raised profit forecast estimates on strong demand for the Wii and Nintendo DS handheld. It expects to sell 17.5 million Wii units this business year.
