Amazon.com this week discounted the Halo 3 Legendary Edition SKU for Xbox 360 to $59. The SKU carries an MSRP of $129.99.

Retailers this month fired a premium to the Wii Zapper gun peripheral. Stores including Circuit City and GameStop sell the $19.99 peripheral for $24.99 to online customers.
Double Dribble this week lead a new wave of Virtual Console titles for Wii. Other new offerings included Vegas Stakes and Ecco Jr.
Nintendo DS sales soared past the PSP in the latest weekly sales figures from Japan. Sales for the software title Dragon Quest IV helped propel DS movement in the region.
