Sony Corp. on Thurs. said that the Playstation 3 title Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will be delayed to Oct. 30.
The title was originally slated to be released one week prior on Oct. 23.
Sony said that the title is finished and has reached gold manfacturing status.
Additionally, a demo of the title should be available for download at the Playstation Store by Oct. 11.
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is the latest entry in the action platform series.
In Aug., Sony previewed the title to select media outlets. An initial play test revealed expansive levels, imaginative weaponry, and top-rate high-definition visuals.
Sony in July price cut the 60GB PS3 SKU by $100. It introduced a $599 80GB SKU in Aug.
The PS3 ranked as the No. 5 best-selling video game hardware in Aug., according to NPD Group Inc.
