Koei Co. on Fri. announced that the game title Fatal Inertia has reached gold status and will ship to U.S. retail on Sept. 11.
The futuristic racing title features eight-player racing on the Xbox Live online network or System Link. Additionally, the title includes 1.3 million customization combinations, six racing environments and 50 Xbox Achievements.
A free demo of the title is currently available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It features single player and split-screen two-player races.
Fatal Inertia was developed by Koei Canada. The team is led by Producer Takazumi Tomoike, creator of the Dynasty Warriors series.
The Xbox 360 has sold more than 5.6 million units to date in the U.S.
