Microsoft Corp. on Fri. announced that the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit and new Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo 3 Wireless Controllers and Headset will be available at U.S. retail on Sept. 4.
The Xbox 360 Messenger Kit includes a Chatpad and an Xbox 360 headset to allow users to easily chat with members on the Xbox Live network or Windows-based PCs. It will retail for $29.99.
The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo 3 Wireless Controllers designed in Covenant Brute and Master Chief themes by Todd McFarlane will be sold with a limited edition Master Chief figurine for $59.99.
Additionally, the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo 3 Wireless Headset in Spartan green and gold will be sold for $59.99.
Halo 3, the next chapter in the blockbuster franchise, will be released to U.S. retail on Sept. 25. The series has sold more than 14.5 million units worldwide to date.
