
Following its debut on Sun., the Xbox 360 Elite carried an in-stock status on Mon. morning at Bestbuy.com and Circuitcity.com.
The Xbox 360 Elite is available for purchase at Bestbuy.com is estimate to ship within one business day. The online retailer sells the deluxe Xbox 360 at an MSRP of $479.
Circuitcity.com restocked the Xbox 360 Elite this week following a sell-out of pre-order units prior to release. It also sells the console at suggested retail price.
Amazon.com, which offered pre-orders the week prior, remains sold out of the new hardware SKU. The strong pre-sales for the console allowed the product to reach No. 5 in the best-selling Computer & Video Games division last week.
The Xbox 360 Elite is a new version of the Xbox 360 which includes HDMI and a 120GB hard drive. The offering places the brand on better footing against Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, which includes HDMI and a 60GB hard drive standard.
Microsoft has sold 5.3 million Xbox 360 units in the U.S. to date.
