Nintendo Co. on Mon. announced that it has begun offering three new classic game titles for the Wii Virtual Console.
New titles include Castlevania for the NES at 500 Wii Points, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the Super Nes at 800 Wii Points, and Shockman for the TurboGrafx-16 at 600 Wii Points.
Castlevania is the classic action title released in 1987 for the NES. Players take the role of Simon Belmont to confront Dracula in a maze-like castle.
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja is an action adventure title released in 1992 for the SNES. In the game, players take the role of Kid Ying and Dr. Yang to rescue Princess Yuki.
Shockman is a side-view action shooter released in 1991 for the TurboGrafx-16. The final game incldues eight stages, including Action Stages and Shooting Stages.
Nintendo has sold 5.84 million Wii consoles worldwide to date. It expects to sell 14 million units this fiscal year.
