Microsoft Corp. on Mar. 16 announced that it will release Castlevania: Symphony of Night to Xbox Live Arcade on Xbox 360 this week.
The game will be released on Wed., Mar. 21 at 2 a.m. PST. It will retail for 800 Microsoft Points.
Symphony of Night was originally released for Sony Corp.’s Playstation console in 1997.
In the game, players take the role of Alucard, the half-vampire son of Dracula. The game includes RPG-like elements and large areas to explore.
The Xbox Live version will feature an original or enhanced mode with improved graphics and sound effects, native widescreen high-definition support, and up to 12 Acheivements and 200 Gamerscore points.
