Microsoft Corp. on Fri. announced additional information on retail SKUs for the action sequel Halo 3 for Xbox 360.
Halo 3 will released in a Standard Edition SKU, Limited Edition SKU, and Legendary Edition.
The Legendary Edition will retail in limited quantities for $129.99 and include a collectible Spartan helmet, storyboard art, and two bonus discs with behind-the-scenes footage, making-of documentary, featurettes, and remastered cinematic material from Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2.
The Limited Edition will retail for $69.99 and include a metal case, the first bonus disc from the Legendary Edition and a Halo fiction and art book.
The Standard Edition will retail for $59.99 and include only the Halo 3 game.
The Halo franchise has sold more than 14.7 million units worldwide. The third installment is the final chapter in the current Halo trilogy and is slated for release in late 2007.
