2K Sports on Tues. announced that Major League Baseball 2K7 is now available for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 and Xbox, Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Playstation 2, and the PSP handheld.
MLB 2K7 features over 300 unique player animations, new replay camera perspectives, and field commentary by Jon Miller and Hall of Fame legend Joe Morgan.
“Our development team has worked incredibly hard to deliver what we believe is the next generation standard for baseball video games,” said Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio.
“Baseball is a sport comprised of passionate fans who expect all the details to be spot-on, and with Major League Baseball 2K7, I believe that even the most pure of baseball purists will be pleased with what we’re giving them.”
New York Yankee captain and seven time All-Star shortstop Derek Jeter acts as cover athlete for the latest installment in the franchise.
Major League Baseball 2K7 will be available for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS this spring.
