
Capcom on Thurs. said that its upcoming Xbox 360 offering Lost Planet: Extreme Condition has received high marks from leading Japanese publication Famitsu.
The action title is due out in North America on Jan. 12.
Lost Planet received a 34 out of 40 in the publication. Critics praised the game’s powerful graphics and strong action elements.
A pre-release multiplayer demo is available on Xbox Live Marketplace and allows Xbox 360 owners to experience 16-player online matches.
Capcom this week said it would issue a text fix for the final game to increase the font size for standard definition television owners.
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is the second exclusive Xbox 360 offering from Capcom. The first, Dead Rising, dropped to retail in Aug. and sold 400,000 copies during launch.
