Capcom on Tues. announced that it will issue a Lost Planet text fix for Xbox 360 owners playing on standard definition television sets.

In the current multiplayer demo, available on Xbox Live Marketplace, SDTV owners have voiced concerns of small text size in the upper left hand screen. Capcom said in a statement that the final game will automatically detect SDTVs and adjust text size accordingly.

In addition, it said it would make mission objectives clearer to players in the single-player campaign game.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is an anticipated action offering due out on Jan. 12. The game allows players to battle aliens in and out of mobile suits.

Capcom released the action game Dead Rising exclusively to the Xbox 360 in Aug. It became the fastest-selling next-generation Xbox 360 from a Japanese publisher.
