Atlus on Tues. announced that Trauma Center: Second Opinion for Wii has dropped to U.S. retail.
The surgery simulator is a launch offering for the new video game system, due out on Nov. 19.
The release is the follow-up to the Nintendo DS title Trauma Center: Under the Knife.
Second Opinion features all new surgical procedures, operating tools, difficulty levels, and a new playable doctor. The game utilizes the Wii Remote controller to allow it to become a virtual surgical tool for operations.
The non-traditional game offering is part of Nintendo’s strategy to attract casual consumers who are not likely to own video game systems.
Nintendo expects to ship 4 million Wii units worldwide by year-end.
