A teaser ad to promote Sony’s Playstation 3 dropped to the internet on Sunday.
The 1-min TV spot features a young boy waiting on a rooftop to catch a glimpse of a hovering “3″.
The visual is followed by the words, “The Wait Is Over” followed by the Playstation 3 logo.
Sony will drop the PS3 to U.S. retail on Nov. 17 for $499 and $599. The $599 SKU will include a 60GB hard drive, flash memory card reader and built-in Wi-Fi.
GameStop Corp. pre-sold out of PS3 units within minutes when its stores began offering advanced sales on Oct. 10.
Sony is expected to deliver 400,000 PS3 units at launch. In Sept. it cut shipment forecasts in half due to a production delay in a key machine component.
