Retailer Amazon.com this week price Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 Live 12-Month Gold Card to under $35 in a new retail promotion.

This week, the Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Card held a sale price of $34.99, 30 percent off the $49.99 MSRP.

In addition, it price cut the Xbox 360 Wireless N Network Adapter to $79.99, down from a $99.99 MSRP in a new peripheral sale.

The discount is part of a Video Games Accessories Sale that discounts peripherals by up to 25 percent.

Microsoft last Nov. released new Twitter, Facebook, and Last.FM applications to Xbox Live.

Microsoft last fall began sale of the Xbox 360 Elite Winter Bundle at $299.99.
