MadWorld Wii price cut to under $12

Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut Sega Corp.'s MadWorld for Nintendo Co.'s Wii to under $12 in a new game sale.

On Wed., MadWorld held a sale price of $11.99, 40 percent off the $19.99 MSRP.

In concurrently price cut select titles by EA Inc., including The Beatles: Rock Band at $40.00, Madden NFL 10 at $40.00, Need for Speed: Nitro at $40.00, and MySims Agents at $40.00.

MadWorld is an exclusive Wii title in which players utilize the Wii Remote an Nunchuk for arcade third-person action gameplay.

The title includes a unique black and white graphic novel art-style produced by Atsushi Inaba.

Nintendo in Dec. said that the Wii sold 550,000 units during Thanksgiving week, which included the Black Friday shopping session.

Nintendo in Sept. price cut the Wii to $199.99.

New holiday titles include Wii Fit Plus, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
