Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut Sony Corp.'s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the Playstation 3 to $40 in a new game sale.

On Sat., Uncharted 2 held a sale price of $40.00, 33 percent off the $59.99 MSRP.

Uncharted 2, in Oct., is an action adventure sequel that includes competitive and cooperative online multiplayer functionality.

Sony in Sept. said the PS3 Slim has sold 1 million units at global retail in three weeks of availability.

The company launched the revamped PS3 in the U.S. on Sept. 1 at $299.99.

Sony this month released the new PS3 250GB SKU at $349.99.
