By Fri. evening, Wii ranked as the No. 6 top-selling product in Amazon's Video Games division, while a PS3 120GB Black Friday bundle that included Infamous and Killzone 2 ranked No. 8 in the same period.
Meanwhile, retailer Best Buy Co. Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. quickly sold out of PS3 Black Friday Doorbuster Bundles to early bird customers. Each bundle included two game titles at no additional cost.
Wii titles in the top 10 included New Super Mario Bros. Wii at No. 2 and Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board at No. 4.
Additionally, Amazon price cut EA Inc.'s Dead Space Extraction to $24.99 and Namco Bandai Inc.'s We Cheer 2 to $19.98.
Sony in Sept. launched the revamped PS3 in the U.S. on Sept. 1 at $299.99.
This month, it began sale of the PS3 250GB model, which includes a 250GB hard drive at $349.99.
Nintendo in Sept. price cut the Wii to $199.99.
New holiday titles include Wii Fit Plus, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
