Retailer Amazon.com this week began offering a $40 store credit with the purchase of Activision Inc.'s Band Hero, DJ Hero or Guitar Hero 5 for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360, or Nintendo Co.'s Wii.

Through Nov. 27, customers who purchase a select DJ Hero, Band Hero or Guitar Hero 5 Bundle will receive a $40 Amazon.com Store Credit at no additional cost.

Band Hero, released in Nov., includes a wireless guitar, wired microphone and drums, and 60 master recordings from acts including Taylor Swift, The All-American Rejects, and Jesse McCartney.

DJ Hero, released in Oct., is a DJ simulation title that includes a turntable peripheral and 80 two-song DJ mixes.

Guitar Hero 5 is the latest entry in the franchise and includes 85 tracks and jump in or drop out of gameplay.

Amazon this week began offering a $50 Amazon.com Gift Card with the purchase of the Wii hardware and Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board SKU.
