Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Bayonetta PS3 SKU sold 135,242 units between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1 to rank as the No. 1 game title for the week.
By comparison, the Xbox 360 SKU sold 64,325 units to rank at No. 7.
Bayonetta is a fast-paced action title directed by creator Hideki Kamiya. It will be released on Jan. 5, 2010 in the U.S.
Microsoft in Sept. began sale of a new Xbox 360 Elite 2009 Holiday Bundle with two game titles at $299.99.
NPD Group Inc. in Oct. reported that the Xbox 360 sold 353,000 units to rank fourth in overall Sept. U.S. hardware sale.
