Target holds new Xbox 360 game clearance

Select Target Corp. stores this month began holding a new game clearance for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360.

Clearance titles include Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts at $19.98 from $39.99, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Price at $34.98 from $49.99, and Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires at $27.98 from $39.99.

Meanwhile, Amazon.com this month price cut the Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Card to $39.99, 20 percent off the $49.99 MSRP.

Microsoft in Sept. announced a new 250GB Xbox 360 SKU to include Activision Inc.'s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The Xbox 360 250GB Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition SKU will include an exclusive outer design inspired by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, two black Xbox 360 wireless controllers, a detachable 250GB hard drive, and a standard copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at $399.99.

Microsoft in Aug. price cut the Xbox 360 Elite to $299.99 and the Pro to $249.99 in the U.S.

This month, it will sell Halo 3: ODST, a new stand-alone expansion title that includes a brand new campaign and four-player co-op functionality.
