The Beatles: Rock Band PS3, Xbox 360, Wii now price cut

Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut EA Inc.'s The Beatles: Rock Band for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and Nintendo Co.'s Wii below MSRP in the latest video game promotion.
On Tues., The Beatles: Rock Band PS3 SKU held a sale price of $53.99, the Xbox 360 SKU held a sale price of $53.99, and the Wii version held a discount price of $53.99. The title carries an MSRP of $59.99. Additionally, Amazon is selling The Beatles: Rock Band Special Value Edition, which includes the game title and original Rock Band instruments at $139.99, 13 percent off the $159.99 MSRP. Amazon in July opened a new The Beatles: Rock Band division to allow consumers to pre-order the game and peripherals for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360, and Nintendo Co.'s Wii. In the new division, customers can pre-order the Limited Edition Premium Bundle, stand-alone games, or wireless guitars. The Beatles: Rock Band Limited Edition Premium Bundle will include a Bass controller, The Beatles branded Rock Band Drums, Microphone, Microphone Stand, and Special Content for $249.99. The title will allow fans to pick up the guitar, bass, mic or drums to experience The Beatles catalog of music. Tracks to be included in the game are I Saw Her Standing There, I Want To Hold Her Hand, I Feel Fine, Here Comes The Sun, and Get Back. Amazon last month price cut EA Inc.'s Rock Band 2 Special Edition Bundles to under $100. Sony in Aug. began sale of the new Playstation 3 Slim model, a smaller and lighter version of the hardware. The PS3 Slim includes a 120GB hard drive and a built-in Blu-ray disc player for $299.99.
