Xbox 360 Live price cut amid hardware drop

Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox Live products amid a price drop for Xbox 360 hardware last week.

On Mon., the Xbox Live 12-Month Plus 1-Month Gold Card held a sale price of $41.99, 16 percent off the $49.99 MSRP.

Additionally, the Xbox Live 3-Month Gold Card held a discount price of $15.99, 20 percent off the $19.99 MSRP.

Microsoft this week price cut the Xbox 360 Elite to $299.99 and the Pro to $249.99 in the U.S.

Amazon is offering a free bonus Xbox Live 12-Month + 1-Month Gold Card Free with purchase of the Elite SKU.

It is concurrently offering free game with the purchase of the Pro SKU.

Finally, it is offering a 'Buy 2 Xbox 360 Platinum Games, Get 1 Free' promotion.
