Retailer Amazon.com this week discounted LucasArts Entertainment LLC's Fracture for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 to under $10 in a new game sale.

On Thurs., the Fracture PS3 SKU held a sale price of $9.98, and the Xbox 360 SKU held a sale price of $9.98.

Fracture is a first-person shooter released in Oct. 2008. The title features terrain deformation to reshape a battlefield dynamically.

The title includes multiplayer functionality and co-op gameplay.

The Xbox 360 sold 175,000 units in May to rank second in console sales and third in overall hardware sales.

The PS3 sold 131,000 units in May to rank third in console sales and No. 4 in overall hardware sales.
