Retailer Amazon.com on Thurs. discounted the game title Resistance: Fall of Man for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 to under $15 in a one-day sale.

On Thurs., Resistance: Fall of Man carried a sale price of $14.98, 50 percent off the $29.99 MSRP.

Resistance: Fall of Man was released in 2006 as a launch title for the PS3.

A sequel, Resistance 2, was released in 2008.

Other discounted PS3 products include Infamous at $49.99 and the PS3 Dualshock 3 controller at $42.99

Sony this month showcased new game titles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, including Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and God of War III.

Sony in May revealed the PSP Go, a new 16GB handheld to hold all digital content.

The product will be sold for $249 on Oct. 1.
