SNK Playmore Corp. this week showcased Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 at the E3 convention in Los Angeles.

Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny is a new 3D entry in the fighting franchise. The new title includes classic fighters like Haohmaru, Ukyo, Galford, and Nakoruru.

In the game, players can execute horizontal and vertical slash strikes, or press both for a strong strike.

Additionally, a Rage Meter built as a player incurred more damage.

Special moves like the Nakoruru bird attach were available, however, not all character special moves were included in the build.

The graphics engine was sharp at 60 frames per second. New polygonal models of the franchise characters held decent builds.

Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny for the Xbox 360 will be released this Nov. for the Xbox 360.
