Retailer Amazon.com on Fri. discounted Atlus Inc.'s Luminous Arc 2 for Nintendo Co.'s Nintendo DS to under $26 in a one-day sale.

On Fri., Luminous Arc 2 held a sale price of $25.98, 35 percent off the $39.99 MSRP.

Released in Nov. 2008, Luminous Arc 2 is a strategy RPG sequel that includes 30 chapters and online battles via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Nintendo in Feb. announced that the Nintendo DSi will be sold in the U.S. on Apr. 5.

The DSi includes two cameras – one external and one facing the user – to take and share photos with family and friends. The cameras will also offer new ways for players to interact with games pending developer deployment in future titles.

NPD Group Inc. this month said that the Nintendo DS sold 588,000 units in Feb. U.S. sales to rank as the No. 2 hardware for the month.
