Retailer Amazon.com this week price cut Activision Inc.'s Guitar Hero World Tour Band Kit for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Guitar Bundle in a new video games sale.

On Tues., the Guitar Hero World Tour Band Kit for the 360 held a sale price of $139.99

The Band Kit typically sells for $189.99.

Additionally, the Legends of Rock Guitar Bundle held a sale price of $39.99, down from a $69.99 MSRP.

Activision in Oct. released the Guitar Hero: World Tour Band Kit, which includes a guitar, drum kit, and microphone.

Microsoft in Dec. said that sales for the Xbox 360 more than doubled in the month of Nov.

Amazon is currently holding a new accessories sale for the Xbox 360.
