Ninja Gaiden II held a sale price of $39.99 on Tues, $20 below an MSRP of $59.99.
The title was release in June 2008.
The latest entry features new locations, weapons, and acrobatic moves.
Ninja Gaiden was revamped for the Xbox in 2004. A remixed version called Ninja Gaiden Black was released in 2005.
Amazon held sharp price cuts this week on a range of Xbox 360 products.
It discounted the Xbox Live 12-month Gold subscription for $38.96, a 22 percent price cut from a $49.99 MSRP.
Additionally, it discounted the Xbox Live 4000 Points SKU to $39.97, down from $49.99, and the Xbox Live 1600 Points SKU to $15.97, down from $19.99.
Microsoft on Sept. 5 discounted all Xbox 360 hardware between $50 to $80 to spur sales.
The Arcade SKU now sells for $199, the Pro at $299 and the Elite at $399.
