The retailer slashed both the PS3 Bluetooth headset to $39.96 and the PS3 Wireless Keypad to $39.96, down from an MSRP of $49.99 each.
The Bluetooth Headset is scheduled to be released on Sept. 30, while the Wireless Keypad will be released on Nov. 30.
The Bluetooth headset will also be sold in the SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Confrontation bundle SKU to be released on Oct. 14.Additionally, the Dualshock 3 controller was discounted to $40.96, from $49.99.
In addition to Sony Corp. video game products, Amazon this month price cut Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox Live 12-month Gold subscription to $38.99, a 22 percent discount from a $49.99 MSRP.
Additionally, it discounted the Xbox Live 4000 Points SKU to $39.97, down from $49.99, and the Xbox Live 1600 Points SKU to $15.97, down from $19.99.
Sony this month released Life with Playstation, a new non-gaming channel with news and weather information, to worldwide territories.
Sony in Aug. released the new 80GB PS3 to the U.S. at an aggressive $399.99, the price of its previous 40GB model.
