The Xbox 360 sold 219,800 units in July in the U.S. to rank behind Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 and Nintendo Co.'s Wii.
In July, Microsoft price cut the 20GB Xbox 360 Pro model by $50 to $299.99.
In Aug., it began selling a new 60GB model for $349.99 at retail.
