The product leaped to a No. 7 sales rank in the Video Games division with a sales increase of 2,628 percent on Fri.

Amazon had previously sold out of the SKU.

By Sat., the bundle ranked at No. 17 and held an out of stock status.

The MGS4 PS3 80GB SKU that includes a copy of the game and a Dualshock 3 controller for $499.99.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the latest entry in the top-selling stealth action franchise. The new title is said to be Snake's final mission in an attempt to foil Liquid Snake and his army.

Additionally, Konami is selling a limited edition Gun Metal Gray 40GB PS3 bundle that includes a copy of Limited Edition.
