Microsoft Corp. on Mon. said that it will release the new puzzle title TiQal this Wed., Mar. 26 to the Xbox Live Arcade division of the Xbox 360.

TiQal offers 120 levels and multiplayer support for up two players. Multiplayer options include versus and co-op in local play and Xbox Live.

Developed by Slapdash Games, TiQal will be available for 800 Microsoft Points.

Additionally, Microsoft said it will re-release the title Switchball with a free update that offers enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay.

Microsoft in Feb. warned that the Xbox 360 was in short supply at U.S. retail and could hinder market share for the next two months.

The company said it hoped to correct the shortage problem sometime in Mar.

NPD Group Inc. last week recorded sales of 254,600 Xbox 360 units, below that of Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 in U.S. Feb. sales.
