The title is said to allow players to live out their Vegas fantasies by fighting, gambling, driving and partying in the city.
This Is Vegas is in develoment at Midway's Seattle-based internal studio, Surreal.
"We are thrilled to be unveiling the first-ever videogame experience which allows players to live out their wildest Vegas fantasies," said Alan Patmore, studio head, Surreal.
"Whether it's partying in the hottest night clubs, racing in underground circuits, testing your luck at the tables or getting into a barroom brawl, This is Vegas has it all."
In This Is Vegas, a powerful businessman begins to turn Vegas into a family-friendly destination. Players attempt build an empire to turn the city back into an adult playground by partying to make VIP connections, hitting high stakes tables, racing in underground circuits, and beating up enemies to prove their strength.
This Is Vegas is scheduled to be released in winter 2008.
Midway Games Inc. held at 2.12 on the NYSE, up 0.04, or 1.92 percent in early morning trading.
